Why we verify buyers
Bids on Mobius are binding, and sellers make real decisions about their excess based on who is bidding. Verifying buyers protects the quality of the marketplace and gives sellers confidence in the bids in front of them.
Once verified, you will be able to bid higher amounts and appear as verified to sellers (who often only accept bids from verified buyers).
What we check
To be verified as a buyer, you need all of the following:
One year in business. At least one year of operating or trading history.
Physical premises. A real business address. PO boxes and virtual offices are not accepted.
Five verifiable trade references. Five references we can contact and confirm.
Verified legal identity. Confirmed legal identity for your business.
No matches on US government entity lists. You must not appear on any US government entity list.
A bank account in your own name. The account you pay from has to be held in your own name.
A passing EUC certificate. Your EUC certificate has to pass our review.
Platform training. A short training session on how the Mobius platform works.
How long does it take?
